Welcome!

My name is Dávid Florek, and I would really love to welcome you here. This is my developer blog, focusing mainly on the creation process of my upcoming game - Zora Story. I would like to post updates here, as well as my thoughts about things that relate to game development in overall.

You may ask yourself: "What the hell is Zora Story?". And you probably asked that right when you came here. Zora Story is small game project I'm working on right now. What it should be? Game focusing mostly on story, telling a tale of a person, who became a hero. If you want to specify a genre for the game, it would probably be an RPG. Controls should feel like Diablo, or more recent games like Dota2 or League of Legends. But, let the screenshots speak!

You may have noticed the art style already. People use to call it Low-Poly Freestyle render. I personally call it Flat Low Poly Cell Shaded, as it is used more often when talking about games. The goal of this style is to impress the user (player) while using as few resources as possible. And my personal goal is to make the game so it could be played on even really old and not that powerful computers.

I'm working on this game alone, and I did everything what is already done on the game, all the models, animations and programming , the story is from my head as well. It is no way in finished state, not even close to it. But every day it's one step closer, and that is important. It can be very time consuming, but I want to see this game finished, and I hope I am not alone.
